It is officially “No Shave November” which means the world is amping up the hair care regimes and grooming best practices. For most men, beard maintenance is so significant. Healthy, natural hair and beauty brand Shea Moisture Men is looking to step into the current trend with their latest ad campaign featuring tons of beautiful men who are proud members of the 'Beard Gang.'

Released Tuesday, Nov. 1, the #DefineYourBeard commercial calls on 15 working professionals to share their infatuation with their beards.

Earlier in the year, Shea Moisture was under heavy scrutiny for their “Everybody Gets Love” ad featuring white women. The brand, which focuses on women of color, presented an ad that customers believed was a shift from their typical, target audience to appease mainstream. 

The beard care line, however, had a different appeal and line of products! The men’s line kicked off in June with beard washes, face ashes, beard detanglers, conditioning oil, and balm. Now there are opportunities to witness the beauty of these men as they apply and bask in the products. 

Shea Moisture may have been "cancelled" for some but after this campaign, I know that some of you are drafting up that "hey big head" message right now.
