Simone Biles knows she’s the best thing to ever happen to gymnastics and doesn’t care about being labeled as cocky.

The 22-year-old told USA Today she isn’t afraid to be criticized for recognizing her greatness.

“It’s not out of cockiness. I’ve won five world titles and if I say, ‘I’m the best gymnast there is,’ (the reaction is) ‘Oh, she’s cocky. Look at her now.’ No, the facts are literally on the paper,” she explained.

Biles pointed out men pat themselves on the back all the time and no one bats an eye.

“It’s important to teach our female youth that it’s OK to say, ‘Yes, I am good at this,’ and you don’t hold back,” she continued. “You only see the men doing it. And they’re praised for it and the women are looked down upon for it. But I feel like it’s good (to do) because once you realize you’re confident and good at it, then you’re even better at what you do.”

The most decorated gymnast in the world has every right to talk her s**t because she can back it up. As Blavity previously reported, she won two gold medals for balance beam and floor exercise on Sunday. Her latest wins are her 24th and 25th world championship gold medals, thus breaking a record previously held by Belarusian Vitaly Scherbo, who won 23 competitions.

There are two gymnastic moves named after Biles, and two more are pending, reports NPR. On Saturday, she did a triple-double, which consists of a double backflip with two twists. Biles later completed a double-double dismount from the balance beam. The beam move is a double-twisting double backflip. The flips will be called Biles II and Biles, respectively. The names have to be approved by the International Gymnastics Federation.

Biles criticized the FIG last week after it gave one of her moves a low difficulty rating even though it has never been attempted by another gymnast.

Her double dismount was rated an H based on a system where an A is the lowest possible score and a J is the highest.

“If it were [a gymnast from] another country trying it, it would definitely be a J,” Biles explained to NBC Sports. “But because it’s me. It’s so unfair, because, am I in a league of my own? Yes, but that doesn’t mean you can’t credit me for what I’m doing.”
