Bow Wow fans have come out in droves to defend the rapper against the new generation attempting to downplay his musical catalog. One user rocked the Twittersphere on Monday when they tweeted a fake scenario, asking people would they still be alive if a hypothetical person aimed a gun at their head and told them to name three Bow Wow songs.
Fans in disbelief over how a statement like that could make the rounds today quickly clapped back at the Twitter user stirring the pot.
If you can’t name 3 bow wow songs it’s a lot more of an indictment on you than it is on bow wow lmao https://t.co/4m9UukMmBq

Wild 'N Out star Tim Chantarangsu also jumped in the mix, showing some disbelief at the day's conversation.
I can’t believe I’m waking up to kids saying Bow Wow didn’t have HITS! The disrespect!

The rapper has gotten some flack in the past for some of his shenanigans, including a recent video he posted showing a youngster staring at dancers inside the strip club in awe. Though, that's no reason to negate his impressive catalog, as this person points out.
I know Bow Wow goofy but don’t do this. He definitely got hits https://t.co/5r98TG90YX

Bow Wow, however, was a good sport and took the jokes in stride. He responded to a number of tweets, including the original, reinforcing his historic hip-hop legacy and adding a few laughs to the mix as well.
YOU BETTER GET THE NAMING ???????? https://t.co/fIkNKSnQSh pic.twitter.com/hDWGCI6GqO

"Damn I'm only 34 and y'all can't name 3 of my songs," he tweeted. "I'm bout to start telling ppl I'm 56."
