Jamal Hinton caught the country’s attention when Wanda Dench accidentally texted him an invite to her Thanksgiving dinner back in 2016. As Blavity previously reported, the message led to an ongoing tradition between the pair.

Now, Hinton, 23, announced on social media that he opened up his own car-wrapping business, Wrap-A-Lot. Located in Tempe, Arizona, Hinton shared that he provides “car wrapping, painting and tinting” services through his business.

“Let me introduce myself my name is Jamal Hinton aka CEO of newly opened Wrap-a-lot where we wrap, paint and tint cars,” he captioned an Instagram post. “I would love to welcome anyone and everyone to stop by our shop in Tempe, AZ and show the world what Wrap-A-Lot has to offer.”

According to the website, the business specializes in “commercial/personal vehicle customization” and additional services. The business also uses an “innovative alternative to vinyl (Liquid Wrap)” that “provides a high quality, cost-effective solution that fits any budget.”

A Twitter user noted Hinton’s nod to his relationship with Dench in a billboard, which features a picture of the new business owner with Dench’s family on Thanksgiving.

“Bro ! I wish you success in all that you do,” they wrote. “But this right here is elite for putting them up there!!”

Hinton and Dench have since embraced each other during difficult challenges. As Blavity previously reported, the two grieved the loss of Dench’s husband Lonnie, who died from COVID-19 complications. They held a gathering with Dench’s grandson and daughter to honor him.

“I can’t even explain how much joy I had, having good food with my favorite company,” Dench told CNN of the occasion. “We laughed, we had a great time, we reminisced about the past. It was so good for all of us.”
