Former NFL star Terrell Owens went to Instagram Live on Wednesday to broadcast a dispute he was having with a woman who accused him of speeding in a neighborhood and harassing her.

The white woman in the video can be heard telling Owens that he ran a stop sign. But Owens affirmed that there wasn’t a stop sign and he wasn’t speeding.

The woman also said Owens “got out of his car and started harassing me.”

“You’re telling me I almost hit you and I didn’t,” Owens said in the video posted to Instagram.

The woman raised her voice at that point and said “you didn’t have to get out of your f**kin’ car.”

“You didn’t have to talk to me that way either, Karen,” the retired football player said.

The woman then launched into a racial tirade, describing Owens as “a Black man approaching a white woman.”

“You put your car in park and you came after me,” she said in the clip.

“First of all, I didn’t come after you. You can stop all of that, Karen,” the former wide receiver said, as the woman continued to argue.

An officer at the scene tried to calm the argument, but the woman continued to yell, saying, “He literally came after me.”

“Here she is crying,” Owens said on the livestream. “There’s Karen.”

The 48-year-old was shocked to find himself in a Karen situation.

“I swear to God, I have never been in a situation like this,” he said. “I’ve seen it, but this is firsthand.”

The woman kept on sobbing as Owens continued to express how shocked he was feeling.

“I’ve seen it, but I’ve never been a part of this,” he said. “This is real life. Now she’s crying.”

The woman’s husband, according to Owens, told her to go inside the house, but she decided to “do the whole Karen thing.”

“I’m gonna be here with my camera to show everything,” Owens said.

Still, the woman continued to insist that Owens was speeding through the neighborhood. Another woman can be heard saying, “He was not. I was in the garage.”

“This is real life in 2022,” Owens said as he kept his cool throughout the stream.
