April 11 marked the conclusion of campus festivities in celebration of the 136th anniversary of Spelman College. Founded in 1881, the liberal arts women's college located in Atlanta has churned out some of the world's most dynamic black female influencers in business, art, and tech. From Pulitzer Prize winning author, Alice Walker to Sam's Club President and CEO, Rosalind Brewer, America's first and oldest historically black college for women has a rich legacy worth celebrating.

It is in this spirit of appreciation that The Spelman College Glee Club blessed the yard with a tribute to beat all tributes. This video, recorded by Danyelle Carter, is blessing lives and inciting impromptu praise breaks all across timelines.

Great job ladies, and congratulations to Spelman College on continued legacy of excellence!
