During President Donald Trump's speech at a luncheon he hosted with the leaders of many of the 54 diverse nations on the African continent on Wednesday, Trump was met with silence trying to compliment African leaders on their countries' wealth in embarrassing fashion.
In an attempt to praise African nations on their "tremendous" business potential, he inadvertently points out how western nations exploit the continent creating a lopsided partnership leaving the continent with nothing.
"I've so many friends going to your countries, trying to get rich," Trump said. "I congratulate you. They're spending a lot of money."

Trump's friends are continuing a terrible tradition of exploitation that has gone on for centuries. Most people are well aware that European colonialism in African nations has destabilized regions and wrecked economic damage on those living there. Diamonds, gold, platinum, iron, petroleum and other natural resources were stolen and entire industries were created leaving out the people who live there. The United States has supported regime changes that would secure its economic foothold on the continent as well.
But the president praises this vulturous mentality. And Twitter has had enough.

In the same speech, the president manages to mispronounce the name of the country of Namibia as "Nambia," saying very clearly that "Nambia's health system is increasingly self-sufficient."
CNBC points out that the Trump administration has failed to appoint ambassadors to many of the nations on the continent. He has only appointed 12 as of this report.
