The opening day of Black Panther, which has lovingly been deemed #BlackPantherDay, has us all giddy and hype. Even stars of the movie Lupita Nyong’o and Letitia Wright are excited — so much so, in fact, that they just had to spit some fire bars in honor of the movie.

Black Panther, which is believed to have cleared the $25 million mark on its opening night Thursday, has been one of the most anticipated films of year. As a cultural milestone, many celebrities and philanthropists alike have been buying tickets to make sure black people of every economic standing can see this amazing movie.
Just yesterday, Octavia Spencer announced that she, director Tate Taylor, and producer John Norris bought out two theaters in Mississippi for low-income families to enjoy.
This is definitely black history, and these ladies have us even more excited for the movie. Who else has some bars to spit in honor of #BlackPantherDay?
