Kravitz said she decided to delete her Instagram pictures after being criticized for her outfit choice the night of the gala.
Currently, her Instagram page only has four posts — three pictures of herself, including the movie poster of her upcoming Batman movie, Unmask the Truth.
The 33-year-old divulged how the criticism about her see-through dress impacted her after one commentator wrote, "I don't understand why they go practically naked. She's gorgeous. Why does she feel the need to wear a dress like this?"
The High Fidelity actress said during her interview with Elle that she wanted to "f**king defend myself."
"The fact that I'm like, 'Should I have not worn that?' No, I do what I want to do, and I make what I want to make, and if I'm now starting to be afraid of what other people are going to say or think, I'm no longer doing my job as an artist," the actress told Elle.
"I'm not experiencing the world and putting that into art. I'm walking on eggshells. F**k that. So, I needed to take a minute," she said, adding, "The fact that people don't think what they say affects a celebrity because you're not a person to them is crazy."
After the post was shared, Kravitz immediately responded to the comment and pointed out that being intolerant toward the human body is a form of colonization.
"Being uncomfortable with the human body is colonization/brainwashing," the actor replied to the heckler at the time, The Independent reports. "It's just a body. We all got em."
