Comedian Kevin Hart will host this year’s awards ceremony, which will air on Sunday, June 26th, at 8PM, as black Hollywood struts its wears down the red carpet, prepped and primed to give and/or receive. It’ll be a night of music, movies, laughter, with likely an unexpected occurrence or two, all while Twitter feeds are flooded with commentary from viewers, ranging from abhorrent to awesome.
Will you be tuning in? Do you even care? I don’t have cable TV, so I won’t be. But I’m sure I’ll get all the details on the various social networking sites I belong to, as the evening proceeds.
Since we’re primarily a film site, I’ve only included the film-related nominees below.
