1. Trap Karaoke

This has been an unstoppable force all across the U.S. this year. Trap Karaoke is a user-generated concert experience where you as the user get a chance to perform your favorite trap-inspired song. Making stops already in Atlanta, Chicago, and L.A., the tour is coming to D.C. for BCFest. We’re looking forward to it because a few members of our staff will be experiencing it for the first time. Will you be joining us?

2. Jhené Aiko

Festival season is in full swing with Jhené Aiko on the bill. The soulful singer will bring the perfect vibes to kick off the summer with the recent release of Twenty88. Hopefully, she brings Big Sean through so we can see their chemistry take over the stage, but either way, we’re looking forward to her rocking the stage.

3. Food Vendors

What’s a music festival without some popping food? Broccoli City Fest brings out the best local vendors and they never disappoint with food that will have your taste buds craving more, even well after the festival ends. BCFest promotes choosing healthier food options and provides local vendors with the opportunity to succeed. The official list of vendors will be released later this week.

4. The Internet

If you don’t have the coins to follow The Internet on their upcoming world tour this summer, Broccoli City Fest will be the best time to see them live. Coming off of their 2016 Grammy nomination for their album Ego Death, The Internet looks to keep the energy flowing. Personally, we’re looking forward to hearing “Girl” ring off because that song gives us so many different feels.

BC Fest will take place from noon to 10 p.m., rain or shine. For additional information, please visit BCFestival.com.
