It’s officially Leo SZN: a time rife with confidence, ostentatiousness and in-your-face energy.

Represented by the sun, Leos are infamous for basically thinking (or knowing) that they’re all that, and Soulja Boy is an artist born under this astrology sign who encapsulates this vibe.

Here are some unique ways that Soulja Boy lives up to his Leo reputation.

Continuously proclaiming his alleged trailblazer status

Associated with the lion, pride is a quality that Leos can’t seem to shake off. On how Soulja Boy lives up to this astrology sign‘s reputation, one needs to only look at his continual self-proclamations about being the “first rapper” to do something.

Whether Soulja Boy‘s saying he was the first rapper to be on YouTube, ride a camel in Dubai, the first rapper to spell with money, or the first rapper to own a video game company, he’s always trying to let it be known that he’s a serious trailblazer — something that feels inherently rooted in his Leo pride.

Throwing a fit when questioned about his roots

Leos’ prideful nature also has an ugly side, which we see when Charlamagne Tha God called out Soulja Boy for supposedly lying about being from Atlanta.

“Don’t talk about where I’m from! You n***as ain’t never shot s***! You n***as ain’t never did nothing that I did! Don’t speak on me bro — on God! I don’t give a f**k if you don’t like the response, I don’t give a f**k if you don’t like what I’m saying, I don’t give a f**k about none of that, n***a. You shouldn’t have said my name, n***a,” Soulja Boy said on Instagram Live.

“I’m from Atlanta, and that’s that. Leave me alone! Don’t joke on my name, don’t troll on my name, don’t speak on my name,” he continued. “Don’t talk about where I’m from, bruh. You don’t know nothing about me, bruh. Was you there when I was growing up? Did you grow up with me?! No!”

Humorously, Soulja Boy called his mom to confirm that he was raised in Atlanta, showing that he’ll proudly go to any lengths to back up his word.

Letting the homies KNOW when they hurt his ego

Last summer, amid the Donda vs. Certified Lover Boy debacle, Kanye West ignited some drama with Soulja Boy by taking him off of the highly-anticipated project at the last minute — something that left this proud fire sign hot and bothered.

“Idk how to feel; Kanye sent me that song ‘remote control,’ and I don’t hear my verse on it…hmm f**k that n***a,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

“F**k that my Kanye West diss song finna drop. I’m tired of sparing this clown a** n***a,” Soulja Boy added on Twitter.

Eventually, though, Kanye reached out to mend fences — prompting Soulja Boy to tweet that he was “the first rapper to get an apology from Kanye West.”

Unabashedly sharing his opinions

With Leo being a fire sign, people born under this sign are known to pop off and unashamedly talk their ish now and then — which is precisely what Soulja Boy did after Trouble, another rapper from Atlanta, was gunned down last month.

“Dudes be talking tough as hell to me on the internet like they gangstas… and then go out like some h**s. That s**t crazy as f**k, bruh. These n*ggas really be b*tches, bruh,” Soulja Boy said on IG Live. “How you so tough on the f**king internet and getting killed in real life? That s**t crazy. Tough-a**, internet-a** n***a. Bitch-a** boy.”

“This like the fifth n***a talk s**t end up dead. Anybody else wanna talk some s**t to Big Draco? Where y’all at? Do anybody else got something to say to Big Draco?! Please get in line, you dead-a** n***as,” he added.

Talk about getting gutter with it, even for a fire sign!
