If you’re in need of a new drama, you’re in luck. Rapper, actor and executive producer 50 Cent is at it once again. The Get Rich or Die Trying rapper is the executive producer of the new drama, The Oath

Written by former L.A. Sheriff’s deputy Joe Halpin, The Oath is a 10-episode series that explores the secret world of police gangs. Halpin has previously written and produced the shows Hawaii Five-O, The Lottery, Secrets And Lies and many more.

According to Billboard, Fif, Halpin and the rest of the crew behind The Oath are "the perfect team to take this extraordinarily fast paced and complex narrative to Crackle’s passionate and engaged audience.” 

Although there's no release date on the series just yet, The Oath is described as an "unexpected story" that follows the life of police officers who are trying to stay out of jail and alive as they re-evaluate the principles and struggle to trust their other police brethren.

The series will make its debut on Crackle — a subsidiary of Sony. The streaming service hosts original content as well as  movies and television. 50 took to Instagram share the news with his followers saying, “Im out here, I'm not playing around. you see me getting the job done. ????Get with me #smsaudio.”

Though there’s no word on if he will appear on the show, but it wouldn’t be the first time 50 stepped in front of the camera. 50 also executive produces and stars as Kanan in the popular Starz show, Power which is set to return this summer.
