After finally being able to stop holding our breath in anticipation of the results from the 2020 presidential election, we can't help but reflect on all the times our madam vice president-elect had us laughing and watching in admiration.
Kamala Harris, the first Black and South Asian American woman vice president-elect, has left us with a multitude of memories from her time campaigning alongside Joe Biden.
Here are some of our favorite moments that will certainly carry us until the inauguration:
1. The victory moment
Just moments after it was announced that Biden had secured enough electoral votes to declare victory in the election, he received a congratulatory call from his running mate, ABC News reported.
"We did it Joe," Harris said. "You're going to be the next president of the United States."
Although having Harris on his ticket prompted a historical election, watching the video turned a surreal possibility into reality.

2. When she reminded Mike Pence she was talking
Although the two were able to secure the White House, their campaign was far from easy with many chaotic debates.
During the only debate between Harris and Vice President Mike Pence, it was made very clear that Harris was not to be played with.
After being interrupted multiple times while attempting to answer the moderator's questions, Harris finally had enough and had to hit Pence with the "I'm speaking."
3. Those unforgettable facial expressions from the debate stage
As if her comment to Pence wasn't enough, her facial expressions were certainly the icing on the cake during the debate, as Blavity previously reported.
I’m an 8. Been seen doing 12. And I see my mama doing 3 or 6, the crazy Black lady smile, I know somebody is in danger. pic.twitter.com/W0ifDjvVK6

While her facial expressions may have gone over Pence's head, Twitter didn't miss a beat.

4. That LOL
Separately, Harris has faced her own challenges while campaigning during the Democratic presidential primaries. However, she learned early on that sometimes the best response when hit with questions tailored to pigeonholed her, is to just laugh.
During an interview with Norah O'Donnell, the CBS News anchor asked Harris if her stance on various political issues like legalizing marijuana should be considered socialist or progressive.
As if she knew the question was far-fetched, the vice president-elect belted out in laughter.
Harris hit back immediately and let the anchor know that her ideals are simply based on growing up as a Black child in American with an immigrant mother.
5. Dancing to her campaign theme song
While we have certainly learned that Harris can handle her own, we've enjoyed seeing her just simply be herself and bask in her Black girl magic.
During a campaign stop in Jacksonville, Harris didn't let the rain stop her shine while sporting a pair of Chuck Taylors and dancing to Mary J. Blige's "Work That."

6. When she told her niece she can do it, too
In another Black girl magic moment, Harris was sure to let her great-niece know that a young girl like herself can be anything she wants—including the president of the United States.
In an Instagram post, Harris' niece, Meena Harris, captured her aunt having an inspiring moment worth sharing.
“You could be president,” Harris told Meena's 4-year-old daughter who wishes to be both the leader of the United States and an astronaut.
We look forward to many more moments from Harris in the coming years as she shines and shows out in her historic new role. Cheers to that!
