An original cast member leaving is Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star amid rampant rumors that the the 9-1-1 spinoff could end after its upcoming season.

Deadline reports that Sierra McClain has left the series before or during production of the show’s fifth season. The outlet reports that McClain left the series “quietly” after “some cast renegotiation drama.” McClain played Grace Ryder, a 9-1-1 call center operator in Austin, TX and wife of firefighter Judd Ryder (Jim Parrack).

McClain’s departure isn’t the only sign that the series might be on the way out. Deadline also reported that Robin Lively, who recurred on the show, wrote on social media about being excited to take part in 9-1-1 Lone Star‘s “final season.” She eventually deleted the post. Other cast members are also reportedly looking for new acting gigs.

Fans will know the true fate of 9-1-1: Lone Star probably sometime before July 19, when the new season finishes production and the cast’s contracts expire. While the cast’s contracts could be extended, it seems like the tea leaves predict that the cast will soon be available to find new jobs.
