The legendary and iconic Grace Jones hit the Paris Fashion Week stage to serve a heavy dose of #iconic.

According to The Associated Press, the 70-year-old singer and model lit up the runway for Tommy Hilfiger’s disco-inspired show at the Champs-Elysees Theatre. The Fall-Winter 2019-2020 collection, which premiered Saturday, was a collaboration with actress-singer Zendaya.

Jones revisited her fashion days as she walked to her 1981 hit song "Pull Up to the Bumper" in a Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya outfit.

The 22-year-old actress told WWD the line pays homage to women like Jones who paved the way for young Black women like herself. All the models in the show were Black.

"We’re paying homage to these women who changed our legacy…and allowed for me and so many others to be here," she shared.

Working with her stylist and America’s Next Top Model judge Law Roach, the duo recreated the famous Battle of Versailles, an event which pitted five major French design houses against one another. They followed in the footsteps of the original show by featuring Black models, a decision which broke barriers in fashion and modeling at the time.

Per Mashable, Jones' attire honored fashion inspired by the '70s and early '80s. The Jamaican-born model, actress and singer who rose to fame in the '70s stunned the crowd in a gold bodysuit and striped blazer.
