Within the past few years the country has been pulsating with afro-centric energy, from Afropunk to blerds becoming a big thing all seemingly connected to the black lives matter movement. Using that energy we encourage educating ourselves more, better care of our health, holding people with power accountable for their actions, and most of all supporting black businesses to develop the black community. That being said I introduce to you another black business venture to enjoy.

The Trials of Atlas is an epic tail following the life of our hero Atlas or Malcolm Shepherd who was the first man on Earth. The way he was created gifted him with immortality which allows him to witness the rise and fall of mankind a thousand times over which developed his distaste for it as well. An original character created by yours truly, Atlas was made to be a more "natural" superhero. His immortality allows him to live long enough to gain his super strength, his flight, and his speed. Throughout his life he has traveled the world voluntarily and at times involuntarily collecting lessons, cultures, fighting (mastering) styles, languages, and perspective most of all.

We meet him in modern day as a drifter who chooses to avoid human contact as much as possible. He's dragged back out into the lime-light after brief encounter with some teenagers that got lost in the woods. The attention attracts militarized police (because he is a super strong black male), news attention, and the city's eccentric billionaire Vincent Mios who has… different intentions. Let's see how this pans out shall we.
