Friends and family of Beyoncé have taken to social media to share photos of the timely gift the legendary songstress gave out ahead of the new year.
The fun pendants are stylized to show "2020" but in the shape of a hand giving the middle finger.
Beyoncé's cousin, Angie Beyince, posted a photo of the fun necklace on Instagram.
"Beyoncé gifted all of her girls with this amazing custom 2020 necklace. '???? 2020' It’s a hand with middle finger and the year 2020 combined into one. When I opened it my eyes teared up because it is both Hilarious & Deeply Sentimental. 2020 has had ups and downs but over all its been a really weird and tuff year. Hopefully 2021 is good to the world," she wrote on her Instagram page.
The pendants were meant to cap off a year that was difficult for everyone, even pop stars of Beyoncé's magnitude.
This month, she appeared on the cover of British Vogue and spoke at length about how the pandemic forced her to make changes to her lifestyle.
She also said that she has had to check in to see how her small children, 8-year-old Blue Ivy and 3-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, are coping with the pandemic.
"I let my children know that they are never too young to contribute to changing the world. I never underestimate their thoughts and feelings, and I check in with them to understand how this is affecting them," she said.
"It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed," Beyoncé said. "I have learned that my voice is clearer when I am still. I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life," she added.
Despite the pandemic, Beyoncé has had a groundbreaking year, releasing adored film Black Is King and receiving nine Grammy nominations with no album out, according to Entertainment Tonight.
