Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, an author and attorney in England, scolded British talk show host Piers Morgan during his show on Monday, shutting down his attempt to downplay Meghan Markle’s recent claim about racism in the royal family.

Refusing to be intimidated by Morgan as he tried to shout over his guest, Mos-Shogbamimu vehemently called out the royal family, which has been facing backlash after The Duchess of Sussex revealed disturbing details about her treatment in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday.

Markle told of an instance in which her son Archie, who was allegedly described as "too brown" in the royal family and blocked him from getting the title of prince, which was given to the sons of Prince William and Duchess Catherine.

While Morgan said Markle and her husband Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, are guilty of trashing the queen, the guest fired back at the Good Morning Britain host. The pundit, often known for his abrasive loudness, grew increasingly frustrated as the activist projected her own voice and proceeded to call out the queen.

"By all means let’s applaud the queen when she does something right, but when she does something wrong, let's call her out," Mos-Shogbamimu said.

The anchor tried to interject at that juncture by asking what the queen has done wrong.

"What kind of grandmother would be so close to her grandson Harry, but do not use her power and influence as queen to protect them from the racist media coverage?" the attorney said.

Turning the scolding back to Morgan, the guest shamed him for taking the side of the queen.

"You sit there humming on about how the royal institution is not racist. Are you out of your godforsaken mind?" she said.

The cycle continued with Morgan trying to interrupt and the woman refusing to be silenced.

"I find what you're saying about the queen actually disgraceful," the host interjected.

"Listen and you might learn something," she said. "The royal family is an institution rooted in colonialism, white supremacy and racism. The legacy is right there. So you’re now surprised that a comment would have been made by several members of the royal family about how dark Archie’s skin is.”

The host again tried to speak as Mos-Shogbamimu continued the lecture.

“Let me finish,” the guest said. “You’re more outraged that Harry and Meghan had the audacity to speak their truth than you should be at the actual outrage of racism.”

According to HuffPost, Mos-Shagbamimu is a women’s rights advocate and author of This Is Why I Resist. Morgan, on the contrary, is known for his conservative views and for bullying guests who oppose his perspectives.

Morgan later switched the blame back to the couple, saying the activist's remarks were "disgusting."

"What about the behavior of Harry and Meghan who are spray-gunning his family on global television?" he said. "I think it hurts the queen who is already suffering greatly from her husband's illness."

"You are such a disappointment," she responded. "I wish to God one day you even surprise me. You constantly use your platform as a wealthy, white privileged man with power and influence to activate and escalate the bigoted, sexist, racist and misogynistic attacks against Meghan Markle."

The host also said that it's common for families to have discussions about their baby's color.

"There are many families in this country who are biracial where one parent is Black, one parent is white," he said. "You don't think those families have honest discussions about what color their babies may be?"

According to Insider, the anchor said Meghan and Prince Harry have trashed the royal family.

"They've trashed his dad. They've trashed his brother. They've trashed his sister-in-law. They've trashed everything the queen has worked so hard to maintain, the monarchy. And we're supposed to believe they're compassionate?" the host said.

British TV personality Trisha Goddard also appeared on Morgan's show on Monday and blasted the host for downplaying the allegations of racism within the monarchy.

“What gets me is why is everybody else such an expert about racism against Black people?" she said. “I’m sorry, Piers, you don’t get to call out what is and isn’t racism against Black people. You can call out all the other stuff. I’ll leave you to call out all the other stuff you want. But leave the racism stuff to us, eh?”

.@TrishaGoddard says @piersmorgan can call out whatever he wants but he doesn’t get to say what ‘is and isn’t racism against black people.'

He responds he's calling out Meghan's 'incendiary charge of racism against the Royal Family'.

As Blavity previously reported, Prince Harry didn't reveal which member of his family made the comments about his son's skin color. Markle also told Oprah that she "just didn't want to be alive anymore" amid the mistreatment she alleged and that she had been refused help with her mental health.

Morgan said the couple's claims were "unsubstantiated allegations."

"If you're going to make allegations like that, give us the names," he said. "You spray-gunned everybody else by name, so give us the names about the racist, who you went to about your mental health who rejected you out of hand and said you weren't entitled to any help."
