The rights to author and blogger Luvvie Ajayi’s bestselling book, I’m Judging You, were recently acquired by media maven Shonda Rhimes and her production partner Betsy Beers. Their power move will eventually turn the book into a comedy series for ABC Signature Studios. Both of the women broke the news via Twitter early this afternoon.

The book, regarded as a “humourous manual that instructs people on how to do better,” has received plenty of praise from the literary and entertainment industry. It's quippy. It's direct. It's healing. The raves only add to the already epic nature of this news. 

This series would be the fifth currently on-air for Rhimes, and it is already eagerly anticipated.

Given Rhimes’ impeccable track record, it would safe to assert that Ajayi is the next in line for television royalty. I’m already programming my DVR!
