Black women in pornography has been a guilty pleasure. It is an art form for women to reclaim their sexuality as unfiltered. Yet, those in the conscious or conservative communities discredit black pornstars. It is not due to the sexism, but who has the anatomy to control her body. In most cases, black men are upset seeing white men dominating black women.

White men politicize interracial porn to be a bragging right. Unlike the white or Asian woman stereotype of their assumed automatic submission, taming black women becomes a sexual conquest. The themes give white men a God complex as they invade Africa, the hood and even slave quarters.

Black women are special because her independence and vigilance towards men, make her sexuality valuable.

In some productions, white men bait black men to challenge their sexuality, by implying racial themes. It is called raceplay, a sexual practice that entertains racial stereotypes and superiority. Most of the power shifts towards white men, since they are the most privileged over any woman or man they have sex with via consent or an indirect interpretation of rape.

Black men in the community have led clumsy movements to end race play and pornography, but with misogyny in the movement itself, they secretly admire racism in pornography to scapegoat black women for being disloyal to black men.

Hoteps will bring up random of photographs on the internet of black women giving Nazi salutes, waving the confederate flag or being called the N-word in indie porn. I cannot justify it. I will admit that, but I see black pornstars do have their flaws and have gotten disrespect from their black audience. It ends up being hard to decipher whether it was harmless expressionism or covert racism.

As a feminist, it is hard to put pornography on a moral compass, especially when it does not need one in the first place. Porn featuring black women, despite sexuality, explores the vulnerability and control of their bodies. It is magic to see her climax and belittle her partner to do it better or faster.

Even in sex scenes, black women’s sexual demands are rarely asked. Men forget or do not bother to ask if women are enjoying themselves. Orgasms end up being an entitlement for men as their egos fill up with testosterone and masculinity that their stroke game was on point.

Academic scholars shame pornography and black sexuality as a tasteless art, objectifying women for adolescent boys to promote rape culture.

Yes, porn and the some of the sexuality portrayed in black media does send harmful messages of boys and men, but white scholars must remember that black women do not have the ability to carefree and sexually free like white women. Black women are not allowed to do both- in being Ayesha Curry (housewife) by day and Amber Rose (sex positive/stripper feminist) at night. Black women were not even given the media platform to be "good hoes", instead, they were demonized as the hoodrat or an unlovable woman who lives from sex as her only source for validation and still conservatives dragged black women for being women, their feminism was too adulterated and bodies too mature for their age.

Black sexuality is an academic lesson that their bodies are shamed because of societal norms.
