Cardi B wasted no time putting a conservative pundit in her place after the commentator tried to criticize her, comparing her to First Lady Melania Trump

Political correspondent and former congressional candidate DeAnna Lorraine is well known for her open bigotry and effusive praise of the current first lady.

But on Tuesday night she took it a step further, somehow tying Cardi B's latest chart-topping song "WAP" to Trump's speech during the Republican National Convention.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, was quick to clap back at Lorraine, reminding her that she and Trump have a lot more in common than one would think.

In her tweet, the rapper seemingly referenced unfounded claims that Trump was a sex worker during the 1990s before getting married— allegations that caused headlines in 2017 when she sued the Daily Mail for publishing them, according to BBC and NPR, respectively.

The newspaper was forced to apologize and pay Trump damages for writing she was an "elite escort" working in the "sex business." In her lawsuit, Trump explicitly said the allegations damaged her attempts to profit from her position as the first lady.

Cardi B also reminded Lorraine of nude pictures of Trump that have circulated online.

People were quick to jump in and respond to Lorraine's tweet, calling her out for the comment.

In 2017, when the president was asked about Melania's nude photos, he defended them, according to the Daily Mail.

"Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing of Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common," he said.
