Chris Brown and two members of his entourage have been detained in Paris following a rape allegation.

The singer, his bodyguard and a friend were taken into custody on Monday, reports The Associated Press. Authorities have two days to decide whether they will file charges or release them.

The unnamed victim says she met Brown at a Parisian nightclub on January 15 or 16. She followed Brown from the club to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, where the rape allegedly occurred. The “Run It” singer faces aggravated rape and drug charges.

Brown nor anyone from his team has commented on the allegations.

This is the second time Brown has faced legal trouble related to sexual assault in less than a year.

In May 2018, a woman sued him after she was allegedly raped by Brown’s friend Lowell Grissom Jr. during a party at his house, according to The New York Times. Brown denied the accusations and demanded phone records from the woman, reports The Blast. The woman, known as Jane Doe, is seeking $17 million in damages.
