A Cleveland police officer has pleaded guilty after urinating on a 12-year-old girl as she awaited the school bus. He filmed himself in the act.

Solomon Nhiwatiwa approached the unnamed minor while off-duty as she stood at the bus stop and offered the student a ride to school, reports on August 16 News 5 Cleveland. The five-year veteran of the department left after she declined but returned a minute later, parked his car and reengaged the child. He then exposed himself and urinated on the student while filming the assault on his cellphone.

The former police officer urinated on the girl's upper body — including her head — and legs.

When the girl protested, asking, "what his problem was," the disgraced officer replied "What’s your problem b***h?" according to Denver 7.

He then got back in his car and drove away.

The student, a seventh-grader, then FaceTimed her mother and detailed the assault as she walked back home.

The girl's mother hastily collected her child's urine-soaked clothes in a plastic bag and went to the Euclid Police Department to file a report. While there, a records employee told her she would wait up until an hour, at which point, she chose to drive her daughter back to school and submit a written police report later.

Police were able to match DNA from the girl’s clothes to Nhiwatiwa’s, prosecutors said.

On December 16, Nhiwatiwa, 34, pleaded guilty to felony charges of attempted kidnapping, pandering obscenity, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and endangering children. He must also register as a sex offender for the next 15 years.

“You wonder how this individual slid through the cracks,” said Prosecutor Michael O'Malley. “Hopefully we can improve the testing in law enforcement so that individuals like this never put a badge on again.”

"This individual will no longer be driving around the city of Cleveland in a police car and that's a good thing."

Nhiwatiwa is scheduled to be sentenced on January 21. He faces a maximum sentence of 7 1/2 years behind bars.
