After a stellar 2017 starring in the hit film Girls Trip and breaking down barriers hosting Saturday Night Live, comedienne and actress Tiffany Haddish has cemented her place as one of comedy's funniest.

Now, she has started 2018 off as the newest spokesperson for Groupon. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Haddish has always shared her love for the discount e-commerce service. While on the set of Girls Trip, the comedy royal used the service on a swamp tour with Will and co-star Jada Pinkett Smith in Louisiana.

Groupon took notice and like the old saying goes, "real recognize real" and the company named her a spokesperson for a series of Super Bowl ads. This will be history in the making because Groupon hasn't had a new Superbowl ad in seven years.

In an official statement, the company praised Haddish for her enthusiasm for the service. She "ranks in the top one percent of most frequent Groupon purchasers and has literally saved thousands of dollars as a Groupon customer," and the ads will find her showing "why it makes sense to use Groupon every day to save money and support small businesses."

She even joked about how the recent move should have happened years ago because she has "invested lots of money" buying Groupon deals.

"Nobody knows Groupon like I know Groupon. I've been speaking out for them for years," she said. "In fact, I should have already been their spokesperson. I've invested lots of money into buying Groupon deals, and it’s about time I got an even bigger return on my investment than just saving money at my favorite local businesses."

Haddish took to Instagram and told her 1.4 million followers about the latest announcement:

Congrats and keep on rising!

This is just one of many upcoming projects for Haddish. She will star alongside comedian Tracy Morgan in the new TBS show, The Last O.G., and recently wrapped production for the next Kevin Hart film, Night School
