nullIt would appear that Ava DuVernay’s "Selma" will
have its full feature length premiere tomorrow night at the AFI Fest in Los
Angeles, and not the 30-minute preview that was previously announced by the festival.

AFI did send out a press release over the weekend saying that it would announce a "surprise" film that will be screened on Tuesday night. It looks like this could be the one.

The announcement
was made through a Twitter exchange between DuVernay and co-producer of the
film Oprah Winfrey, that follows:

  No doubt
after the screening at the AFI Fest, the film will be screened for
the media and Academy Awards voting members, which means word will soon get out
on whether "Selma" does have the potential to be a real Oscar contender.
