While the community is still reeling from Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s surprise album Everything Is Love, Drake decided to further bless summer 2018 by sporadically placing billboards throughout Toronto with hints of an album.
As fans quickly began to share the news on Twitter, Drake took to Instagram to share a collage featuring photos of himself and the word “Scorpion” with the caption promising a release date of June 29.
The black billboards with white lettering include tags like “I Just Flipped A Switch,” “Don’t Hit Me When You Hear This,” “Is There More,” “Elevate,” “God Has A Plan,” “Side A. Side B.” and more. Another illustrates a scorpion going toe-to-toe with an eagle.

And just as quickly, the theories started flying. Are the billboards a hint at track titles? Or perhaps they’re just snippets of lyrics? What does the scorpion represent? And what in the world is Side A and Side B?!

Really hoping this #Scorpion billboard signifies @Drake has a two-sided album coming ???? Please let one side be straight rap and the other R&B. ???? pic.twitter.com/daUK0MS3qG— V (@V_Money7) June 22, 2018
I love how Drake gets people so worked up. All he did was put out billboards and left everything up for interpretation. They are writing paragraphs of think-pieces based solely on rumors pic.twitter.com/lqyzB6bSDe— Scorpion szn???????? (@_Flower_babe) June 22, 2018
