Drake's latest single is an ode to women.
Toronto's finest brought together some of Hollywood's biggest female stars in the video for his latest single, "Nice for What," directed by 22-year-old filmmaker Karena Evans.
Actresses Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana, Tiffany Haddish, Black Panther star Letitia Wright, Michelle Rodriguez, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Rashida Jones and Emma Roberts – as well as singer Syd, ballet star Misty Copeland and Drake himself all shine in the cinematic visuals for the hit single.

With scenes ranging from futuristic to fantastical, Evans and Drake captured the individual personalities of each woman involved while still maintaining a cohesive girl power theme throughout. The gorgeous cinematography complemented a sampled beat from Lauryn Hill's "Ex-Factor."
But we need to talk about how the female gaze was all over this record and video??? pic.twitter.com/9WkgBxZ5A1

Many may be familiar with Evans previous collaboration with Drake, helming the "God's Plan" video.
The 22-year-old Toronto native has directed two of the most popular music videos of the year and there's no chance of her slowing down. Her skill is what helped to create the empowering visuals that strike a balance between beauty and strength.
