Neither of them features much in the film’s trailer (there’s a short glimpse at Viola Davis’ character & I don’t recall seeing any of Nonso Anozie’s character), but here’s a better (albeit static) look at both actors in costume, in character, as Maj. Gwen Anderson and Sergeant Dap, in the upcoming sci-fi adventure Ender’s Game, based on the popular book by Orson Scott Card.

The film, directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi) who also wrote the screenplay adaptation, centers on a young strategist, Ender Wiggen, who is drafted by the International Fleet (the film’s global government and military organization, formed to unite Earth’s citizens after a devastating alien attack nearly destroyed humanity) to save the entire human race 70 years after a devastating alien war.

The world is saved by a white boy yet again. Yay!

Anozie and Davis belong to a cast that includes Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Hallee Steinfeld, Abigial Breslin and Asa Butterfield as Ender.
