"From the Reelblack Vaults," as the title card says… watch this 1989 thirteen-minute documentary short, titled "Who Is Chris Rock?," directed by then-NYU student Michael Dennis (you might know him instead as the man behind Philly-based Reelblack), featuring some of the earliest off and on-stage footage of a much younger Chris Rock, honing his craft, to the chagrin of his mother.
