This is a great idea! It serves a dual purpose – as a behind-the-scenes look at how Issa Rae Productions is run, which I think many of you will appreciate (I certainly do); and also as a kind of lead-in to her HBO series “Insecure” which premieres in just 2 months.

The new series is titled “INSIDE Issa Rae Productions” – a look at the independently-owned production company, and the cast of professionals who collectively work to manage and grow it.

As the company’s Facebook post on the series states: “We hope to inspire other content creators and entrepreneurs by giving you a transparent look into how we run our production company. From our podcasts and web series to our upcoming HBO show, ‘Insecure.'”
