Shadow and Act has an exclusive clip from this week’s episode of Proven Innocent in which the group has a heated discussion on whether they should take on a white supremacist as a client.
Here’s the description of the episode: When a white supremacist begs the Injustice Defense Group to help him overturn his wrongful conviction, the team clashes over whether they should take his case. Despite the team’s objections, Madeline is determined to prove his innocence. Bellows approaches an ethical crossroad in his race and must make a campaign-changing decision. Meanwhile, Levi continues to impulsively investigate who framed him for Rosemary’s death.
We interviewed Russell Hornsby, one of the show’s stars, about the series earlier this year. “We want to be able to play good, quality, but conflicted characters,” Hornsby said. “You have to be able to show that aspect of three-dimensionality in these roles. Proven Innocent has given me the opportunity to do that so that everyone can see who this person really is without allowing him to be an archetype.”
Rachelle Lefevre, Nikki M. James, Vincent Kartheiser and Riley Smith also star.
Proven Innocent airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
