Sy’Rai Smith, the daughter of R&B icon Brandy, was caught on camera jamming to Burna Boy’s latest summer hit, “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.” The Afro-fusion track samples Brandy’s hit song “Top of the World” featuring Ma$e from her 98′ Never Say Never album.

TikTok user @ber_amos attended the day party over the weekend and noticed Smith and her friends having a good time, vibing out and singing the song out loud.

“POV Your moms an icon, and you stan. Honestly, we all stan,” she captioned the clip.

The video accrued 98.8k views and 13.8k likes, while the comment section blew up as viewers co-signed Smith’s support behind her mother.

“If my mom was Brandy nobody would hear the end of it, lol,” one user commented.

“Icon, legend, the real Cinderella!” another wrote.

Smith is following in her mother’s footsteps in the music industry. The 20-year-old has been working on her debut EP, produced by her mother and recently dropped a brand new single, “On My Own,” in May. Smith co-wrote the song alongside Eric Bellinger.

“We are upcoming artists, but we have some type of something to our name, so it can be a little bit easier — but also, if we don’t make it, it’s like crash and burn,” she told Blavity.

“It’s a lot of pressure because we have their fans on us. A lot of the people that follow me are also Mom’s fans,” she said. “Sometimes it’s really annoying to have people be like, ‘Where Brandy at? What’s she doing right now?’ I’m like, ‘Girl, go on her page'”
