Feeling a little bit of déjà vu!? Well, if not, you will once you watch this interview in which an Avengers: Endgame star may have spoiled the movie weeks ago during a late-night interview.

Stars Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 9 to discuss the film.
When Kimmel mentions this is the last gathering of the Avengers on the show, Downey says that the “future is uncertain,” and Kimmel acts relieved and continues talking. After waiting a few seconds, Johansson interrupts and says to Downey, “Don’t lie to him, we’re never coming back.” Then…there are some awkward laughs. While this may have been looked at as just a joke on behalf of Johansson, the awkwardness is more apparent once you watch Endgame and realize that Johansson and Downey both meet their end in the film, while the two other stars seated behind them, Rudd and Hemsworth, survive.
Now, for the déjà vu. Back in a Good Morning America interview in July 2017, Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/Hulk (who at the time was only supposed to be talking about Thor: Ragnarok) said, “Wait until you see this next one…. Everybody dies…Well, half.” He then turns to Don Cheadle (War Machine) and they laugh, clearly trying to play off that he had revealed the information. It wasn’t until the film was released in May 2018 that the interview resurfaced and folks realized the hints were there all along.
