Director Tim Chey directs ‘Slamma Jamma’ (from his own script), a feature sports drama from RiverRain and Ray Walia Productions, which follows a former basketball star as he prepares for the national slam dunk competition while finding redemption in himself and in those he loves, after being released from prison, where he served time for a crime he didn’t commit.

The film, described as a drama/comedy stars Michael Irvin, Chris Staples, Jose Canseco, Porter Maberry, Rosemarie Smith-Coleman, Ryan Gunnarson, Alexia Hall, Kelsey Caeser, and Michael Hardy.

RiverRain will open the film in theaters nationwide on March 24, 2017.
