Completely unnessary IMHO; too soon to *reboot* given how short a period it's been since the last one (the worst in the Sam Raimi series). There are sooooooo many other worthwhile superheroes to make films out of; I don't need another Spidey… not in 2012 anyway… not even in 2015.

But I'm sure some of you are excited about it, and it'll make a gazillion dollars at the box office; so here ya go – geek out!
