That Denzel Washington “Nigga They Couldn’t Kill” video has apparently gone viral, as I’ve seen it shared quite a bit across the blogosphere.

Folks are loving and eating it up. But what some may not realize is that the clip is actually from April 2010, and is part of an hour-long, live conversation that Washington and Viola Davis held with Lynn Hirschberg of the New York Times and its TimesTalk series. This was while Washington and Davis were starring on Broadway in a revival of August Wilson’s Fences.
