#HBCUWomenInSuits and #HBCUWomenInDresses is just as impactful as #HBCUMenInSuits. At the end of May 2015, Yao Lydia, a former student of Florida A&M University, created #HBCUWomenInSuits to encourage Black people to attend HBCUs. His hashtag spawned #HBCUWomenInDresses and has worked to inspire Black people to embrace Black spaces.
