One of the things that made SZA's debut album, Ctrl, such a success was not just the catchy tunes, but its reliability factor. Her breakout single, "The Weekend," rumbled through our ears and pop culture and we couldn't get the words "My man is my man is your man, Her, this her man too…" out of our head.
Well, looks like SZA's mom is ours, too! On Monday, SZA took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a text from her mom:

"Remember you can even eat an elephant one bite at a time," read the text. "To help change feeling stressed out and overwhelmed, jot down all the stuff that's making you crazy, then write beside it what must be done NOW, what can be done LATER and what would be nice to do if you could but is OPTIONAL. Focus only on the NOW."
Dropping gems! I'm sure all of us feel overwhelmed at times and just want to snuggle up to the safety spot of our mothers, fathers, guardians … or whomever is that safe spot for us. In a time of stress that can have us in a daze, receiving words like this to snap us back to reality is priceless!
The post definitely inspired fans to reference the famous hook to "The Weekend," and made us all realize that our moms really are the inspirational core in our lives:
