Anyone who's seen the Beasts on the Southern Wild or even just the trailers knows that a major plot point are these mythical gigantic wild boors called Aurochs which may be real…or maybe not. I'll leave it for you to see the film and decide for yourself.

But they're pretty impressive and frightening as well in the film and Fox Searchlight has just released a "making of" short on how the filmmakers created these bizarre creatures for the film.
