Hurricane Isaac, which is still currently ravaging the Delta Coast, and will have lingering effects all the way into the Midwest, has shut down production on Lee Daniel's big budget, all star production The Butler.

The entire cast and crew for film, which is being shot in and around the New Orleans area, was evacuated to safer locations until the storm leaves the area.

In addition, actors who were scheduled to join the production next week, such as Jane Fonda, who's playing Nancy Reagan, had their flights cancelled, and their shooting schedules will be rearranged.

According to one source involved with the film: “The cast and crew for the film is huge, and it was a giant operation to get them out. But everyone has been taken to safety. The stars were flown out over the weekend right up until the airport closed".

Production is scheduled to start again sometime later next week.
