Internet Turns Lebron James’ Reaction To J.R. Smith's Late Game Blunder Into Hilarious Memes

LeBron is probably leaving next year.

In Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, LeBron James put on a 51-point performance in a game lost in the last few seconds of regulation.

It wasn't Steph Curry, Klay Thompson or Draymond Green that stopped the Cavs. It was George Hill and J.R. Smith who would ultimately do them in.

During the last five seconds of regulation, Hill was fouled sending him to the free throw line. He made one of two shots tying the game to 107. But when the Cavs got the rebound, Smith decided to hold on to the ball draining the clock instead of taking a shot or passing it to someone open.

This mistake sent an already depleted and exhausted Cavs team to overtime. And like that, King James' highest-scoring game in his playoff career was all for naught. The Cavs lost 114 to 124.

Sometimes another person's misery can be the best form of comedy because J.R.'s mistake has been immortalized in meme form so future generations can laugh and enjoy this moment. Here are some of the best memes reliving King James' disgust with his team:
