Another day, another surprise album release from one of your faves.
J. Cole had the internet shook Thursday morning with a pre-order listing on Apple Music for his new album, 4 Your Eyez Only.

The highly-anticipated album will be released through Dreamville and Roc Nation on December 9th. That's exactly two years to the date of 2014 Forest Hills Drive, the classic album that will live in rap and meme infamy (say "double-platinum with no features" three times and fast).
The surprise album release has become a popular trend in the industry recently, with many artists opting to hone the album's sound rather than focus on the traditional release formula of yesteryear. The news of Cole's project is even more of a treat considering the Fayetteville MC announced a brief hiatus at The Meadows music festival in October. Nonetheless, hype is building up tremendously over the ten untitled tracks and how the rapper will execute.
December is looking like a fire month in terms of album releases with Kid Cudi and Childish Gambino amongst the few slated to drop.
Dec 2nd- Gambino Album
Dec 3rd- Drake Album
Dec 9th- J.Cole Album
