We haven't even hit December yet, but Mariah Carey's classic jingle "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is already sitting at the 39th spot on Billboard's Hot 100 this week.
To commemorate the notable hit's 25th anniversary, the legendary songstress joined forces with Spotify to create an audio-visual "enhanced" album. The album will feature some of her Christmas songs as well as remixes to "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
According to both Billboard and Spotify, Carey's self-written hit racks up an astonishing number of streams every year. Spotify said the song had been streamed more than 520 million times and there was a 2000% increase from October to December last year.
The song, which originally wasn't released as a single from the 1994 album Merry Christmas, morphed into a hit when radio hosts reported thousands of calls demanding for more spins of the jingle. It managed to reach the No. 12 spot on Billboard's list at the time and has continued to gain popularity worldwide.
As an early gift to fans, Carey tweeted out a video of her first live performance of the song.

According to a 2017 article in The Economist, the song has made Carey a boatload of money, earning her more than $60 million since she released it in 1994.
Every year, demand for the song starts earlier and earlier. With more than 200 million albums sold worldwide, Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time.
She released a Twitter video discussing 12 little known facts about the song, reminding a few Twitter users that yes, she wrote it herself.
