Jay-Z has reportedly declined an invitation to perform at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show. When it comes to the Super Bowl, the halftime performance is just as important as the game where ratings are concerned.

With big name, mega star performances from the likes of Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Prince, Madonna and Mrs. Carter herself, a Super Bowl halftime performance slot is considered a landmark career achievement for the biggest artist in the world. So, why would Hov turn down such an opportunity? Because, values.

During a performance at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival at Citi Field in Queens, Jay dedicated a song to Colin Kaepernick as a show of solidarity with the former NFL player who has since been ousted for taking a stand against police brutality and injustices in America. Might Hov be taking the #NFLBoycott to the next level? While no statement has been released from Jay's camp or the NFL, #BlackTwitter has come to its own conclusion.

It appears that 4:44 Jay is on his grown man, take a stand 'ish.

We see you Jay.

There will be no OJ, on Hov's watch.

Let the church say, Amen.
