While making the rounds to promote her new Netflix comedy Sandy Wexler, Jennifer Hudson stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about her starring role in the movie. Her appearance, which aired just days after the Easter Holiday, found the actress reminiscing with host Stephen Colbert about her very first acting role in an Easter church production. When Colbert invited the singer to deliver a few bars of her favorite hymn, Hudson broke out in an acapella rendition of “Talk About a Child” that summoned the angles and brought the house down like only she can.
