Legendary filmmaker John Singleton is expected to be laid to rest Monday in an intimate ceremony at Angelus Funeral Home.
According to a report from TMZ, family members plan on laying the Boyz 'N' The Hood to rest in the Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills cemetery.
Slain rapper Nipsey Hussle was interred there last month. The two men grew up in South Los Angeles and have dedicated their adult lives giving back to the community.
Hussle was gunned down following a verbal exchange with the accused gunman Eric Holder. The 33-year-old was a STEM advocate and businessman.
Singleton died due to complications related to a stroke he had last month. He was 51. Family members have come out urging Black men to take better care of themselves and to check their blood pressure.
