Jordyn Woods released her new clothing line, Woods by Jordyn, just a few days ago, and she has responded to criticism the brand has already received.

In a series of viral TikTok videos, a woman named Stella Williams called out the model’s new clothing line for not living up to quality standards. In the videos, Williams tried on three bodycon dresses she purchased from Woods by Jordyn, each costing $123.

While reviewing the dresses, Williams said they felt “cheap” and compared them to the “clearance section of Shein,” as reported by Insider. She also called the products a “cash grab.”

“I’ve got to be so for real right now,” Williams said in the video. “It’s so bad I just unfollowed the brand. I would never, ever have any of my followers spend $123 on these dresses, and it just feels like a cash grab.”

She added, “I’m offended that I spent $400 on these three dresses, period. Pros: shipping time, diversity. Cons: everything else.”

In a separate TikTok video, Williams doubled down on her opinions by noting that she doesn’t support the brand or its prices.

A little while after Williams posted her videos, Woods took to TikTok to respond with her own video.

Woods began by complimenting Williams on how she looked in the dresses and thanking her for the constructive criticism.

“OK, I just want to lead with: Wow, you look phenomenal in the dress. I honestly think you look so good! Thank you for buying the dress,” Woods began.

“I will say, there is a way to be honest and real without bringing other people down or bringing other influencers into it. Opinions are subjective until you’ve felt the material and you know,” Woods said. “Some people are going to love it, and some people are not going to like it, and that’s just what it is with everything.”

The model also responded to Williams’ criticism of the dresses, specifically their stitching, which she said was “poor.”

“I did see a response that you just made saying I only addressed the sleeves,” Woods continued. “I’m not sure if you watched the whole video; I don’t think you did because I talked about a lot more than the sleeves.”

She added, “When you’re not mass producing clothes, especially in this day and age, it costs a lot more money to make. But I do appreciate your constructive criticism. I would love to hear what brands you think provide the quality mesh that you are looking for and ways that I can improve, and we can continue to grow together.”

Neither Woods nor Williams has addressed this situation further.
