Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk is all about healing past wounds, and the conversations she shares with her daughter, Willow Smith, and her mother, Adrienne "Gammy" Banfield-Jones, on the show have everyone talking.

After speaking with her husband's ex-wife, someone Pinkett Smith had gone years without talking to, the actress sat down with another star she has avoided in past years, Leah Remini.

Remini is perhaps Hollywood's most famous ex-Scientologist; Pinkett Smith and her husband, Will Smith, have often been rumored to be Scientologists. Remini broke with the church and worked to expose its inner workings in the documentary Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath on A&E.

Scientology is, in fact, at the heart of why the two ladies previously weren't on speaking terms: Remini accused Pinkett Smith of being a Scientologist.

In 2017, Remini told The Daily Beast that she witnessed the Girls Trip star at the Scientology Celebrity Centre several times and that she once witnessed a bizarre adult hide-and-seek game involving Tom Cruise, Will Smith and Pinkett Smith. According to BuzzFeed News, Pinkett Smith then took to Twitter to rebut Remini's allegations and to announce she is "not a Scientologist," but had experience studying Dianetics, the metaphysical teachings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.

The Facebook show posted a pic of the two ladies on Instagram to promote the newest episode on Monday.

As Vulture reports, the two ladies apologized to one another. Remini explained what convinced her Pinkett Smith was a Scientologist, and Pinkett Smith shut down the idea that she follows the religion once and for all.

"I'm sorry I didn't consider you because I didn't," Remini told Pinkett Smith about making the accusation. "I was wrong."
