LeBron James has accomplished almost everything he wants to accomplish in his NBA career, but he still dreams of someday playing together with his son, Bronny, in the league. The NBA superstar expressed his desire in a recent interview with The Athletic.

"My last year will be played with my son," James told The Athletic. "Wherever Bronny is at, that's where I'll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It's not about the money at that point."

Still, the Los Angeles Lakers star is not sure how long he will play in the league or where he'll go next.

"I don't know what my future holds. I don't even know when I'm free," he said.

James hasn't shown any signs of slowing down at age 37. The basketball star is averaging 29.1 points per game this season, trailing only Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo, CNN reports. If he can hang on for a few years, James might have to chance to play in the league with his son.

First, however, Bronny will have to prove that he belongs in the NBA. The 17-year-old high school point-guard was ranked 43rd by ESPN in their 2023 class of 60. James' 14-year-old child, Bryce, is also trying to make an impression as a high school basketball player.

James, who played 11 season with the Cavaliers, returned to Cleveland over the weekend to play in the 71st All-Star Game. As he was asked about the possibility of once again playing for the Cavaliers before the end of his career, the Akron, Ohio native said "the door is not closed on that."
